Give Up the Ghost

I recently read Give Up the Ghost by Megan Crewe. I had no idea what it was going to be about, but I was in between books so I gave it a shot. It was… different. It took me a few days to get through it because it didn’t leave me on the edge of my seat. But I did keep reading. It was surprisingly unique and full of depth. I like that the author could have tied up all the loose ends easily but it wouldn’t have been realistic, so she didn’t. For a story about ghosts, this author nailed the realistic aspect of it. Even the parts that seemed a bit childish eventually turned into more mature emotional complexities. It was well written and edited. I would recommend it for YA book lovers.
